Vintage 1970s Norwegian Pewter Pendant Necklace (Anne Grete
$100 · Ballston Lake, NY · Fun Finds

Beautiful mid-century modern pewter (Norsktinn) pendant necklace produced by the historic Norwegian workshop Hillestad AS. This specific folk-revival design is officially attributed to the Bergen-based jewelry designer Anne Grete Buck (who passed away in 1991), verified directly through the workshop's archival records. Details: • Design: Large upper circular disc with a stamped geometric pattern, linked to a smaller disc holding three swinging, kinetic paddle dangles. • Dimensions: The pendant structure is exactly 8 cm long (approx. 3.1 inches) excluding the top bail loop. • Condition: Excellent vintage condition with a beautiful, silver-gray patina. Joints and links are sturdy and free of cracks. Complete with all original dangles and its wearable chain. • Markings: The back has a smooth, hand-poured casting surface. Like many multi-tiered studio pieces from Hillestad's 1970s casting runs, it was left unstamped but is a fully documented, authentic design mold. Perfect for vintage collectors or as a companion statement piece for traditional dress. Local pickup only in the Capital District / Upstate area. Cash and Venmo accepted!
